The ultimate discussion on Commitment decisions in EU Competition Law
If you want to know everything about the use of commitment decision in EU Competition Law…
you should register here to the half-day conference on “Commitments in EU Competition Policy” put together by the Brussels School of Competition (“BSC”) and The Liège Competition & Innovation Institute (“LCII”).
I’ve been invited to speak there (as the exception to an outstanding line-up of panelists) to provide an “Overview of the cases dealt with under Article 9 of Regulation 1/2003”. Any great ideas about how to explain more than 30 cases in less than 20 minutes without breaking any speech speed record would be much appreciated.
I hope you get the chance to discuss the commitment decisions offered by the OFT/CMA in the recent hotel case. It looks like a good example of how this process can go horribly wrong.
