Chillin’Competition celebrates 1st Year
We hadn´t realized, but yesterdat chillingcompetition turned 1 !
It was on October 2oth that we started spreading the word around about the existence of this blog. Nicolas probably knew what to expect after the hotchpotch experience, but I´ve been frankly surprised by the reach of this tool.
Chillingcompetition has had nearly 70.000 visits; its daily visits are currently in the order of 350 (and constantly increasing).
Moreover, its visitors are from very varied places (check the map on the lower right side of the web, right now showing visits from all over Europe, the US, China, Colombia. Kenya, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, India or Dubai).
We are proud that some people might find the posts here interesting, and we´re committed to improving all the many things that surely can be done better.

I am one of your 350 daily visits. Why do I come? Because you often have something interesting to say. Because you are able to say what you think (which lawyers are not always free to do). Because you are big enough to say when you change your mind. And because you do not take yourselves TOO seriously. I mean, what other website in 2010 regularly carries photos of album covers? I subscribe to what Paul wrote! And one more thing – the blog constitutes both: a place to find funny, interesting, sometimes very personal comments and at the same time a valuable knowledge base. A day-to-day morning lecture providing me with the informations of the highest academic level, based on practical experience of the Authors, served in the most amusing way. I subscribe with my both hands to what Paul and Sonia said. I check this blog every single day after I log into my computer at work. It’s a great place to read about the newest issues in competition law and what very important this place is both geeky and funny! So a very happy birthday Guys and keep on running this blog – we competition lawyers certainly need it!
